HoMM V will not use SF!

It is official. Heroes of might and magic V will not use starforce! Good to see Ubi has listened. The demo is due out tomorrow and hopefully that will be void of SF as well!

And as I understand it, Ubi has dropped sf completely. How cool is that?

Stupid Starforce on my computer (due to Blitzkrieg2) reboots my computer evrytime I empty my trashcan. It seems Starforce is supposed to reboot your computer everytime you try to burn a dvd or use Daemon tools. It must have figured out I installed all of that in my trashcan :bucky!: :Oo:

it's only half the game without SF. The fun starts when SF is on your PC....that gives the game a whole new dimension

It is not supposed to be. This annoncement was on the official Ubi french forums and has spread like wildfire since. If everything is true, no Ubi game will have SF. If this is the case, I will buy Ubi a beer! (Just to clarify, only one person in Ubi gets the beer, not everyone that works for them

why is it even necessary to have SF on a demo!? can't really get it, isn't it suppose to make sure people don't download the full game, burn and sell.. but why on a demo?
