RPG Developement

Hello,

I'm looking for people with differing skills in programming. The reason is that I am planning to make an RPG game (Thus recruiting here). This game can be made in either C# .NET or VB .NET. It will most probably be single-player but may if the need is right go on to be a server connecting client.

Aswell as programmers I need artists and people with good story ideas for dialogue etc.

i hate .net. makes my PC restart or won't shut down anymore. go make a flash game

The problem with flash is its a noddy pgrm language...

is it even a pgrm language?

u just drag and drop pictures and set coordinates.

I needed one which is object orientated and can use functions such as System.IO() and things

I would use VB 6 but that is a little out dated and unsupperted.

LOL vb6.

You can make some pretty sexy 2d games with flash. Some mobile phones use it for their games, much due to the way it handles sprites, vector graphics, etc.

If it has to be one of the three languages you listed it should definitely be C#, though preferably C++

I indeed plan on using C# but it depends on the skills of the other programmers.

C++ is overkill for this project

Visual Basic because you can learn it in a day will be great for the user interface.

Thats why I intend to use the Dot Net Framework because then the two languages can be interlinked.

If anyone knows How to program in Ruby we could make this game multiplatform with ease... Just a thought

We need... (Top = Highest Need)

Artist (Someone who will create characters and splash screen images, anything will be helpful) - Any Range Of Skill
Programmers (Will Make UI, Some of the CoreFiles) - Can program in VB( UI) or C# (Core Files)
Ideas People (Will come up with the game environment ie (RPG, Summons, Levels, Skills, What the damn thing is called)
Scripts Writers (Will create the scrpts for the NPC's and players)
