I downloaded it and it came up with "Invalid or Corrupted File" so I downloaded it again and it happened again but that's probably because I didnt delete the older one.. Should I just download it again or what?

Try a different download server and make sure the corrupted file is deleted from your harddisk incase you want to download it into the same directory,

Try enabling FAST WRITES on your card, I know it sounds stupid but it worked for me. Had 8 fps both on max settings and low, after having fast writes on it plays a lot smoother.

yeah, same thing happened to me. i guess i'll try and find another mirror. i think it was the Netherland server i downloaded from.

*edit* darn, uninstalled the game completely, then downloaded a new copy, but the same message appears =(

translation to English:

"This application could not be started because d3dx9_27.dll could not be found. This problem could maybe be fixed if
you reinstall the application."

Somebody said that it could not be played on XP 64 bit. Could that be it?
