Hitman: Blood Money Demo

What does everyone think of the new Hitman: Blood Money demo?

I dunno what to think yet. Lots to like - the soundtrack, visual feel, atmosphere, potential story, looks good too on my machine. Lots to dislike - the easy/stupid objectives (now find the office, *sign with office in big letters written on it*...now snipe 3 guards with this handy sniper rifle and sniper tower etc etc), also I still find the animations a bit wierd in Hitman games...

I got some strange graphical glitches too that I couldn't get rid of, with jumping vertices and textures and green lighting! :S

Anyway, was looking forward to this game from watching the trailer and listening to the music on the official site, but now...I'm undecided. Seems like a good 360 game though.

Why did the cpu of my gaming rig have to explode just before Blood Money was released :rant:

well the easy is only for the tutorial level which is the demo...i know it was stupid to release a demo where you are told to snipe and stuff..

..but i have the full game let me tell you that none of the other levels tell you a single thing except a liitle discription of you r target...and on expert it take me 3 turns...the first turn i do a little research of the area then i plan the hit....the hits in the other levels are very well planned....the reason they releasd the demo as the tutorial level as it doesnt give away to the story...the game has more than multiple ways to achieve the goal and the enviorments are bloody huge

on my pc ...the game is the best looking 3rd person upto date...even beating SPLINTER CELL3 ...its got this translucent shader which gives a a real skin texture ,,,like mr 47 having a red tint on his ears when there is hard light behing him....
the translucent shader also comes in form of clothes and curtain ,hdr effects asn self shadows just adds to the gritty look of hitman
theres a crowd engine where u can have more than 600-700 npc on screen at the same time,IO claims to have 3000-4000 but i think 600 is ok...there a mardi gra level where therea re hundredes of people,,and plce a bomb in between of the rally blows them all up,,,even removing a gun out in the crowd gets them all running mad and looks so cool


IN short...BEST ever hitman game..definite buy for a fan and also for new players

I saw something of the large crowds in one of the trailers (the one where you've gotta shoot the evil chickens!), and it looked pretty impressive. It would've been cool to have ppl say 'Hey!' if you bumped shoulders with them, or have you have to try and push past ppl, rather than have them 'roll off you' easily if you know what I mean. But it's the first time I've seen such a large crowd on one screen, so it's still a very nice touch.

It'd be great to hear from anyone else that has the full game too. I think it's out at the end of the week over here in the UK. I'm definitely gonna have to check it out if I hear more good comments.

I'm downloading it now. I get most of my difficuly in stealth games by how I play them--I don't kill the targets the easiest way, but rather the coolest. So I'll try to go the whole mission without firing a single bullet and stuff like that.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to trying this demo...my cruddy half-speed DSL connection is taking hours to download it.

For some reason this game runs INCREDIBLY laggy (im talkin like 8fps here) on my PC...I dont know what the problem is...I can run BF2 on all high with no lag but cant run this on all low with no lag? gotta be a card issue.

guess wat u can push ppl in the crowd....push them to the groud ..even crack there skull with ur head in close combat......but here are a few scrrenshots form my pc

runnin at 1280x1024 all settings max...4xaa 16 xaf ...the last pic shows of the shaows of tree leaves on 47's head..really looks cool when he walks under a tree or when he walks under a light...a really cool shadow shows up under this eyes











u can cee mr 47 head skin...it looks so real proper light ...giving te bleed of light through his skin using the translucent shader...

thts cos they gave a stupig tutorial level in the demo which is tells you wat to do at wat time...the rest of the game is not at all so linear and get very few hints on expert level.....
