Heres a few questions for you all :P
1) I know its early but what is your game of the year so far? 2) What is the most disappointing title you have played? 3) The most promising title in development. 4) Most Wanted please (Top 4) Game of the Year* * So far :P For me it has to be Obivion, the quality and attention to detail is incredible the way it draws you in. There are few games where you spend your time just staring at the enviroment but I like many others found myself doing that on serveral occassions. The freedom to make you own choices and when letting you decidie when and what to do next was a refreshing change too. Most Disappointing For the most disapointing it had to be Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (For the uninitiated) GRAW was such a cool game on the 360 and I had great hopes that the PC version would equal the eye candy and expanded on the depth and gameplay. Performance wise the PC version needs an obscene amount of power to get it to run smooth. High detail can only be enabled with video cards with 512mb onboard. The AI mostly spends it time staring at walls and the gameplay is very slow. On initial release most of the 360's game modes were missing and the mulitplayer component was pretty broken. Most Promising Most promising must be Spore, yeah I know its being published by EA but the concept looks really interesting, although it does remind me of Impossible Creatures. I like the creative element to the game and alot of what its going to do is pretty different to most games around. Most Wanted 1) Spore 2) Stalker 3) World of Warcraft Burning Crusade 4) Hellgate London

Game of the Year:
Yeah it's got to be Oblivion for me aswell...for the same reasons as you have stated. Most Disappointing: Tomb Raider: Legend...was really looking forward to it, but was appaled to see a short and thoroughly not-so great story line. Don't get me wrong its still a good game, however it did not live up to my expectations. Most Promising: Call of Duty 3. I have been a big fan of the Call of Duty series and am looking forward to CoD3 Most Wanted: 1. GTA4 2. COD3 3. Assassins Creed 4. God of War 2 |

Game of the Year:
Oblivion - PC. Awesome immersion and scope with some amazing graphical flare. Most Disappointing: GRAW - PC. Poorly coded, bad AI, poor PPU integration let AGEIA down. However some good co-op play via LAN is a worthwhile attribute. Most Promising: Crysis. Oh yummy yummy, Good FPS for ma tummy! Most Wanted: 1. Crysis. 2. STALKER. 3. Splinter Cell: DA. 4. FEAR: Extraction Point. |

Game of the Year
So far, I would have to say nothing. I really like dead or alive 4 and oblivion but feel that there aren't any shining stars in the world of gaming yet. Maybe later this year... Most Disappointing Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter- PC and X360. I tried both demos and they both had numerous problems which prevented me from liking either game. The 360 version is hard to see what is going on and the story mode is completely lame. I was tempted to get the game just for online play but figured it would be similar to every other ghost recon game. They need to revamp the series, not just make the graphics prettier. Most Promising Unreal Tournament 2007. The game is coming out on a multitude of platforms and looks better every time I see new screenshots for it. I am saddened to see the UT2K4 community die down because of crappy games stealing the fan base, but I know it will be revitalized when ut2k7 is released. The Witcher also looks very promising. The game has super crisp visuals and an immersive story line that makes me want to play it. Most Wanted 1) Unreal Tournament 2007 2) Gears of War 3) Forza 2 4) Bioshock
