Forum Redux?

This is a quick work in progress mock-up of a proposed IPB forum skin. You do not get to know who made it or if it will be implemented or not. All I want to know is if you would like something like this to be the skin or an alternate one for the forums. The preview pic is of low quality on purpose and it is also worth considering that there is a full set of matching buttons with rollover animations available...

I like it quite a lot more than the current one, however it does need a lot more work. Whoever designed it should sit down and concentrate on finer details, but only if the feedback is positive enough. It does look more hell like and the molten metal/lava is awesome! :thumbup:

Same here, the basic concept is awesome, but it still needs a lot of focus on detail. Voted yes.

Rzk, I think the JPEG is intended to stir debate on making improvements to the forum. Make some decent contribution to it instead of just 'LOL'... You are afterall the chief 'coder' here...

Also, This affects you more than anyone. A lot of us regulars are sick to the teeth of false promises about new upgrades, proprietary forum code, or new fandangled forum elements that no one here has seen in the last few years since you announced them. IPB has moved on, we ARE DEMANDING MORE!

Sure the graphics on that JPEG are rough in places, but it does look a 'hell' of a lot better than this over-familiar tripe we have to contend with!

I think it looks good, but the white in the lava makes it look like it needs AA or darker embossing.

Raz and GM, do not make me intervene! Sheesh! All that was supposed to happen was to show the need for GH to update. I like the skin shown above as it is unique. There is no need to piss and moan(except when I do it)
