Oh Man, this is seriously annoying me! Crysis has been delayed in aDukeNuke´em-ish way to be released together with Vista!!
What kind of crap is this? Does Crytek actually think that such a in-a-state-of-beta Os will have the needed support for this game?! Hearing this makes me wanna puke, I looked forward to this game, and now it´s delayed just because Big M. releases a new OS... What are your opinions, folks? Mine is plain and simple: I AM PISSED!!

I'm just waiting until they announce that it will be a Vista exclusive after all! I never expected anything good to come of an EA-MS partnership. Crytek we'll miss you!

First of all, CryTek has nothing to do with this decision. They are the developers of the game and that's it. As the publisher of the game, it is up to EA to set release dates for everything (trailers, demos, the game, patches.) Apparently M$ paid EA enough to delay release for a simultaneous launch since it will run on XP/DX9. Crysis is not only a groundbreaking title for EA, it's a poster child for Micro$oft's "Games for Window$" and DX10.

I'm happy it's being delayed. Now I have more time to save my money and build a system powerful enough to run this beotch!
Maybe if I duct tape two Alienware computers together and have them blessed by the Pope I can play Crysis at 800 x 600!

I am hoping Crysis will be the first game that really utilises dual-core CPUs, Physics rendering over GPU and SLI rendering.
