MMO Tech Support

I recently lost my Auto Assualt account during the Euro - US server merge. OK so I am pissed ... now the support is in the States I have to wait days before I get a response if i get one at all. The thing that really gets me the most is the fact that while people are paying a monthly sub they can't afford to have 24 hour tech support. I mean come on, the supermarkets, fuel stations, many convieniance stores are 24hr but not tech support for MMO's.

I urge all MMO fans to petition for 24hr tech support, we deserve this at least for the hefy subs they receive. Remember if you have a problem like me of a lost or locked account they will still gladly take your money while preventing you access to the service you are paying for. Its time we demanded better value for money form MMOs and a higher customer service.

While I agree that it sucks as is, nobody cares about online petitions.

Ps. I had fast response times (<2h) everytime I used NC Soft support for GW.

I've always thought that the monthly subscription for MMOs was for the server costs and the constant support and updates, yet nobody moans about expansion packs they charge an additional £25 for that gives you content that should be free...

MMOs are stingy, yet we continue to pay. *Shrug*
