Can anyone who has the game tell me if its basically any good, pro's cons etc. One main question is, is it easier than the last too and if so, is the gameplay better just as good?

its the hardest of them all :/
it could be a good game if it wasnt so damn laggy when you get quite a number of people in your city :/
the details are awesome but running this with good details when you got like 20000+ people is a no can do

but if you can live with laggyness its one hell of a game i guess.

I found the detail level of the game to be quite good. Graphically it is very pleasing, in fact I really can't find any major faults with the game.

But I only played the game for about a week before I shelved it. Can't really put my finger exactly why, but I just didn't enjoy it all that much.

Two things about Simcity4:

* Is better than the others, more fun and more eye candy.
* Is a resal resource hog. And I dont just mean your grafic card. It will eat your HD, Memory and Procesor like munchies when you have a population of more than 200,000.

So if you have a lower end machine, better ask a friend for a copy and try it on your machine, so you can check how good it runs on your machine. This game also has problems with some ATI cards.

ah well, ill only play it for about a week, I have to 'get' the game again becuase cd1 was currupt.. going to take it back to the 'shop' so i can get a copy that works

does it freeze or crash, because simcity 3000 froze on me...

Played the game for a life long time of 20 mins, then got bored,

well the game is fun, but booring at the same time, i think Maxis have made a very good effort to but some funinto it, e.g. the God tab, where you can create volcanoes, earthquakes etc., but you just feel that you sit there for ages waiting for your scity to prospor, and when it doesnt its like a turn off, its like waiting for a woman that you gonna sh*g to get undressed and she has a chastity belt that she takes ages to get off, and then you cant be bother dto wait, errr... sortof

It's really good, but it really gobbles up the RAM
