Call of Juarez - Weird Textures

I'm getting weird triangular textures when the level starts. My whole screen fills with colored triangles. Anyone familiar with how to fix this?

hmm the game isnt stupid, well it got a bad wrap. the beginning isnt too great but im as far as chapter 9, hunting rabbits with the bow and finding "eagle mountain" with a horse. by that part of the game its very cool, totally open ended, miles of land to discover. nothing like the first half of the game. hmm so give it a chance maybe. the technical part of the game is bad because it takes an UBER pc to run it good. i got a 256mb card and i still get some slowdowns on medium settings
