I have to chime in on this thread. AWOC has got to be the worst hosting company around. There servers are overloaded and horrible lag conditions exist. Do a search on the net for AWOC problems and you will be surprised what you find. There is an ongoing thread over at the Planetbattlefield forums with more info on the horrible conditions and customer service at AWOC.

I must agree that AWOC has the worst servers anywhere!

We had 5 servers for BF2 with them and had nothing but trouble, 1st the lag is so bad nobody wanted to play on our servers, after talking with there techs, we found that AWOC runs 150 slots per server, that’s 75 more than it can run without lag.

Then the tech support is just OK nothing to write home about, if you want any kind of support, you need to call them and speak directly to a tech.

Our servers crashed daily, due to the amount of servers that were on one box.

We were over billed every month and had 6 months credit, try getting any of that back, it is impossible, if you have any kind of credit that you overpaid, good luck, just kiss that money goodbye.

Well do a search and you will see how much bad news you will here on them.

AWOC gave us a few free servers, but we turned it down and as for our 6 months credit, we just let the servers die out and went with Branzone, they limit the slots to 64 per machine,we have never had better running servers.

Just my thought.
