I have a launch model and it definetly does not overheat in 2 hours [pulled many all nighters playing oblivion on a projector]. You should however buy a Nyko intercooler to prolong its life.

All ive heard was that the 360 has an internal cooling system. but does it have a fan? cuz i heard that it overheats in 2 hours. cuz i have to get one for a youth center run by our compound. Do the newer models last longer cuz we need models that can stand being on for 8 hours of the day.

Didn't a bunch of the original 360s have major quality control problems? I heard something about microsoft having to refund repair costs cus of it.
