There is conquest available as well. Most ppl are just playing titan mode I guess. Its not bad I suppose, I wish they would have showed more of the game. No grenades or upgrades is kinda bland. And I hope there are more air vehicles in the full version. As I play more today, I will give more impressions. There is a standalone server file available. Hopefully we will have it on GH today.

Ahh I see, well maybe your right about the Titan Conquest thing, I mean I joined several Conquest servers today and they where all Titan! Btw, did you figured out how to get on the other Titan? :P

It would be good if they made a mod with just the mechs that would be fun but with a few more guns and stuff.And build up your skills to be an uber mech from hell :dennis:

There are two ways that I know of to get on the enemy titan after the shields are down. One: use the helo thing from your titan.
Two: Use the pod in an apc to launch you there.

Didnt ya watch the tuturial vid that played before the demo??

I have the same exact bug as Battlefield 2 that began when I unfortunately was dumb enough to buy the booster pack known as Armored Fury. The game will just randomly crash my display drivers, forcing me to reboot. Stupid, stupid game. I have tested this bug in detail and it would only happen with Armored Fury installed (I have one installation with it and one without it). It appears this bug made its way into BF2142

EA Support was no help whatsoever. They just gave the generic support dialogue, which didn't do anything at all. I didn't try to see if the 1.4 patch fixed this bug or not. But seeing how it happens in 2142, I don't think they did.

Aside from that, it's really hard to find a server that isn't full of lag. I did happen to find a pretty lag-free one but my fun was spoiled about an hour later when my display drivers crashed and I had to reboot.

Before anyone says I need to do a fresh install of Windows or something like that. Been there done that. It just doesn't like some component of my hardware no matter what OS I'm running on. I've tried it in XP, a fresh install of XP, XP-64 bit, and even Vista. On all operating systems the same thing happens. The display drivers crash and I'm left with a blank screen.

As I don't see any topic giving comments and critics on the 2142 demo, put them here!

I think the overall look is pretty cool, nice weapons and vehicles (though I can't really handle them proper, lol), the only thing that's too bad is that you can only do the titan quest, the new gametype on 2142. Although it's a good way of presenting this new part of the game, I personally think it would get boring when playing it alot, as the only gametypes allowed in the demo are conquest and Titan(the new gametype), and the only map Sidi Power Plant (which is a Titan Conquest Map, so conquest automaticly also is Titan. Anyways, I love the atmosphere in the game, and I'm defo gonna buy the game, I think.. :bucky!:

You can spawn on your titan. That is where those helo things are.

the game is mint!! gfx are better, intire game seems to run smoother then BF2 and (no glitchy crap in the menu screens).. interface has a much better layout, I think anyways. The weapons & vehicles are awsome, there should be more aircraft in the full version....I hope anyways ;) The titan gameplay mode is tight!! :thumbup:
