Oh - I can calm down: FutureSlop had Dark Crusade today.

BF 2142 btw refuses to allow me to utilize existing profiles... I must generate a new identity every time I try the game. From what I have played, I like it...

October is a great month! Doesn't FFXII come out at the end of the month? JOY!

I'm planning on picking up the Family Guy game this weekend. It looks funny, especially if you like the show, and there's some kind of deal going on at Best Buy where if you get the game you get $10 off one of the season DVDs (I still have gaps in my collection so that's a win win.)

... And now SW: Forces Of Corruption and FEAR Extraction Point. POOF - I`m tapped. But I`m also somewhat sane for the next little while.

Speaking of Dark Crusade, I must say my Necrons were executed superbly: they are strong in just the ways I thought they would be/ought to be, and they are weak in the ways in which I always thought they ought to be. Truly a joy to play. Overall too Dark Crusade is certainly one of THE best releases of 2006.

is fear extraction point just a add on? or u have to buy it? and warlok . i had the same problem with bf2142 .. once u get to that point just click on your name that u created and it will let u in .. i thought i had to keep creating a name to.. when u get to the point where u have to create a name . look right below it at the name u already created and click on it. it has to be highlited to activate hope it works for u. its a fun game. and i havent noticed any advertizing yet .

Dark Messiah got a beating over at gamespot with just 6.8! O_o

Eurogamer (best reviewers IMHO) gave it an 8!

I'm not a big RTS player, but i'm not forking money for more 3 hours running around in offices (F.E.A.R.)!

I want the american october launch list for PS2 and that's it!

The Gamespot review for Dark Messiah is kind of half crap and half accurate. On one hand they completely downplay the great graphics that it has (they only gave graphics a 7 and didn't comment much about it!), but on the other hand, they were pretty correct about how repetitive it can get. My criticism about the game is that there are WAY too many cheap "hey look you're dead moments." Just so many cheap things that kill you when you least expect it. I thought developers stopped making games that way oh say since 1996... It's not very funny and it's just irritating since you have to reload the game (which takes a fair amount of time) and try to avoid more cheap "hey look you're dead" traps. I've never had to reload save games so much as I have had in this game. It gets old.

Funny how IGN gave it a 8.8!

Dark Crusade is indeed a joy to play, very, very good RTS. not the best tho, thats CoH. im writing a review about it, if monks approves it, maybe he'll put it on the main page.

Dark Messiah really is a b!tch because of the stutter, but the console command Mat_picmip 1 switches everything on medium, making the stuttering go away. its a workaround still, and they promise to patch it soon. been playin entire day. having fun. pretty weird story still. pretty predictable too. buggy, also.

what do we have more? Ultimate alliance. ordered it. curious how it works out.
