Bf2142 has spyware!

i don't think EA will go down as much as i wanna see it because all those ppl who are pissing and moaning right now will run to the store and buy it. they have the will to bitch about thing s but not the will to do something against it. Funny thing is even with all those ad n spywares the games are not getting cheaper but more expenxive. what's up with that. what i dispise most are those EA games (and others lately too like that might and magic game) that you need to buy the special edition for more contant like weapon, items or car in NfS. they actually want 10 bucks more for the same stuff in different colour...

i can't wait for the day when you play BFXX42 or NfS RubbishX where suddenly during a match the screen freezes and a lil window pops up with a voice saying, YOU'LL BE RIGHT BACK TO THE GREATEST ONLINE ACTION YOU HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED...after these comercials. of corse companies wanna do something that the gamers can relate to so there will be some comercials like some fat ugly joe sitting in front of the PS5 getting n00bed to oblivion and suddenly the Controllerman pops up and says some iluminating stuff like: Feel like a n00b but you know you got what it takes to be a pro? then it's time to show them your skillz by washing you cloths with sensetiv0rex. only sesetiv0rex keeps you underwear soft and cushy but at the same time gives back that bright colour like its new and wron for the first time...sensiv0rex, just like a 1337 pr0g4m0r.

I’ve spent the whole morning looking into this and the game doesn’t install any excess programs of any sort.
In the otherhand there seems to be now two connections going outwards:
IP:Port DNS
159.153.235.46:18300 bf2142-pc.fesl.ea.com "newcomer"
207.38.11.34:29900 Unknown but connects to ign-accees1.core1.irv.intelenet.net inner network "This is the same address BF2 uses"

Each of these are needed to login into the game, first one is for login into EA Master account and second one to your user profile.
I’m still unraveling the bf2142.exes interior to find out more.. Iv uncovered lots of cheats tho

While poeple scream that EA will go down because of this, im afraid it won't hurt EA one bit. for all the people that don't buy BF2142, EA will make it up with the extra profit from these ads. however, i think its still break-even, because the people that play now pay for the ones that won't buy it because of the ads. not that im that bothered though, my pc is a spyware/adware haven anyway. Its just the sheer brutality of EA that pisses me off. IF they had researched this thing beforehand, it would indeed forecast this chaos and noone would've gone for it.
Now the question still roams around: Is EA really that stupid?

I disucssed the problem with my dad, and while he doesn't give a damn about games, he did say it was a wrong move of EA, and implied that the company's probably run by yuppies that don't know shit about a game, only profits. So the very purest of non-gamer says something that a gamer would say too, which worries me alot.

Ofcourse we all hope to see EA either admitting their errors or being punished, but im afraid that won't happen. It has to be REALLY big, and im talking bout 99% really thinkin the same to ever bring down EA.

Its still friggin frustrating to hear they don't give a fornicate for gamers or games on itself. if they did, they'd know that this mediocre mod would bring enough cash anyway because of the franchise all by itself (that others built only to be destroyed by EA)

Guess what. I played BF2142 yesterday, and i didn't see one friggin add anywhere, and i looked around quite well.
Oh, hate to say it, but one map (some maps, just like BF2, still have horrid stuttering, but most of it fades away in 5-10 minutes) actually was awesome to play - NO lag at all! i haven't had this much BF fun since BF42! and that fukkin means something.
