Don't get too excited. This verges on the "non-announcement" end of the spectrum of significance. Interplay is really only a company on paper with no address other than a PO Box. I'm a bigger fan of the Fallout series than anyone I know (outside of Brixtone), but anything with Interplay's name on it isn't going anywhere.

Looking at it i don't even think he heard about Hello World.
I need to play Fallout sometime, see what the fuss is all about. ;)

I'll give this Brixtone a run for his money when it comes to fanboism for FO.

As for Interplay, I think it is the name recognition that is the key here. There may not be anybody from the original "FO making" team on the project but people will be happier seeing the name Interplay associated with the game.

It roughly the same thing as the fella who bought the Acclaim name and is now porting Asian MMO's to the Western market.
