I think C&C 3 is shaping up to be a good strategy game for 2007. I was critical about it at first but I'm pretty excited about it now. As one person said on the EA forums, "when C&C Generals fans are disappointed about C&C 3, you know EA is on the right track" (Generals was not very well-liked in the C&C community due to a lack of storyline, live action video, and any connection with the other C&C games).

The game is going to feature a system where hundreds of people can spectate multiplay games and one person can even commentate with graphics and VOIP. Sounds like an interesting way to watch skilled players play the game and a good way to learn some strategies.

I myself didnt like C&C Generals because like you said, lack of storyline, C&C from #1 to Tiberium Sun and Firestorm was great I never personally play reengade but I've seen SS's and movies so I thought it was decent. Generals was good for a change but if it were a more in depth story and followed what Firestorm was about would've been better.
