GH Bought Out!

MTV and parent company, Viacom, has bought out gamershell.com for an undisclosed amount!! This is crap! The same people I have bitched about for years now owns GH. Here is an excerpt from the contract that Francesco(hiv) sent me: I am just posting some points of interest not all of it.

CONSENT AND AGREEMENT
TO
BUYOUT AND RELEASE
(GamersHell.com to Viacom)

THIS CONSENT AND AGREEMENT TO BUYOUT AND RELEASE is made and entered into
this March 29, 2007 and to be completed April 6, 2007. GamersHell.com is to give up
control of GamersHell.com and all properties therein before April 6, 2007.......

R E C I T A L S:

WHEREAS, in connection with entering into the Gamershell.com buyout agreement,
MTV and parent company, Viacom, take over all debts, assets, and properties on the
said date....

Section IX. Royalty Commissions

GamersHell.com owner(s) is to be paid in full before April 6, 2007....

Well yeah, Viacom has been out to buy more gaming sites. Think of Xfire. Guess we're another one on the list. Lets just hope things stay free ;)
