What did you think of Overlord?

Mhan, i bought it and played it for a while, now the disk is sitting in the drive, 2 me its a GREAT game but i have a short attention span...

I thought the concept behind Overlord was neat and that you can choose to be evil or good so there can be two alternate endings.

Being evil is so fun.

I have only played through with evil good at the moment with Overlord, I find it hard to be truly evil

I really enjoyed Overlord's humour, I found it to be similar to Giants: Citizen Kabuto (which was cool apart from a couple of game crashes which made me want to put my foot
through my monitor).

I would buy Dungeon Keeper 3! There is nothing more satisfying that giving some smug heroes a good smacking. Is that ever going to come out?

Yeah it is very similar to Citizen Kabuto, but not nearly half as good. Seeing as they are both British there may be a link somewhere, just as there may be a link with overlord and Dungeon Keeper. I would absolutely love to see Dungeon Keeper 3, but Bullfrog went very quiet after Peter Molyneux left to form Lionhead Studios to make Black & White.

I should imagine that someday the franchise will be resurrected if of course Overlord isn't the sequel...

... I did hear the Deus Ex 3 is in the works, so you never know!

Deus Ex 1 was the shit, man i loved that game even though it was too hard for me at that age but.

I tried the overlord demo, didn't got far because of my pc, the movie hanged :P

yeah, I bought the game and thought my PC wont run it so i never tried playing it...my new PC is around the corner thou

Overlord didn't tax my system much and I have a Radeon ATI 9800. Also it did not crash once even unpatched, which has to be a first for me.

The one bug I did see was that occasionally your minions would just completely disobey and generally end up dead. Also I think its a little cheesy that you are this all powerful overlord and yet you get stuck because you can't jump over a tiny rail.
