360 VS. PS3

Well, I was sitting here and got bored so I went to Game trailer something and watched the PS3 vs 360 The Darkness vid. Easy to say that that vid is bullshit since i saw darkness on the 360 and it looked better than both in the vid (they are probably playing on a 480i TV). But looking at the other games it does seem that the Xbox version is always better looking becasue of th FX in it while the PS3 seems to have very short and dim light FXs. Well, what ya think folks. post some pics if you want but please don't make a 480 360 pic vs a 1080p ps3 thingy or vice versa.

As of now the Darkness 360 rox but the gametrailer vid stinks. dunno about the PS3 version thou.

The problem with all these comparison videos is that they take direct feed which makes the PS3 version look brightish, this especially seen in the Oblivion comparison. The thing is, they can't capture video with RGB full range.

exactly. and so far The Darkness looks better on 360 in real life. not much but appearently the PS3 version doesn't have AA witch makes it very jiggy (on low res).

It looks the same except for AA, but that's a given since developers can't seem to take advantage of all the SPEs.

differnt colours and as i said the PS3 seems to have lower light FX, not only in Darkness

I don't know what you mean by lower light fx, and color could be affected by the TV settings obviously, and if you're using HDMI and RGB Full range.

If you got a game for bt systems you will notice that the PS3 light "sphere?" is a bit smaller. same goes to the light reflections on the surface of the suroundings. not sure if you'll notice it in game but you'll see it in a picture to picture comparison.

PS3 does however have the sharper textures. Funny fact: 360 is dead in japan. the premium bundle version (with some cutie RPG) cost there mearly 120 USD
looks like it's only Wii imports for me from now on here

Personally thinking about adding a Wii to my gaming collection. But for now in the ps3 vs 260 I'll stick witht he quality of xbox's games as the reason I have one.
