Medal of Honor: Airborne is an upcoming World War II first-person shooter computer game that is the 11th instalment of the critically acclaimed Medal of Honor series. It is being developed by EA Los Angeles and is slated for release on the PC and Xbox 360 in September 2007, and for the PlayStation 3 in November 2007. The game takes place in the European theatre of World War II, and is the first in the series to focus on paratrooper activities.

In the single-player mode, the player takes on the role of PFC Boyd Travers, a paratrooper in the US 82nd Airborne Division. Missions include various insertions into Italy, northern France, the Netherlands and Germany, each one beginning with a jump behind enemy lines, and success requiring completion of given objectives. Airborne also features a multiplayer mode available for online play, where users have the choice of fighting for the Allies and parachuting down to the battlefield, or fighting for the Axis and starting on the ground, defending the position from enemy paratroopers.

The game uses a heavily-modified Unreal 3 engine. Airborne employs a non-linear gameplay style whereby the player can start the game anywhere in the map by directing where they land, as opposed to previous linear FPS games where the start point and direction is already laid out.

~ The game-play is awesome when you get the hang of it, theres quite a bit of game-play in the demo, the way it ends just makes you want to know what happens next, definitely a game I plan on getting .

This game is rather good. Graphics are more then satisfying and the AI of the Italian soldiers is as it should be, they run around with no structural order, yell alot and aim lousy.

Seriously, if EA really meant they were going to make more quality instead of quantity games then this game is one of the best examples that quality has become their first priority.

Finished off the demo, really liked it, game ran fine and all

Though i miss MoH AA a bit, this looks too much like a copy of CoD2.

I don't like that you can't walk while aiming, it's a bit irritating, i do like the weapon levels though, adds something extra to the game.

This will certainly be something i'll be playing in the near future

Yeah Magus too

Copy of cod2? Common, cod is moh aa with some graphical updates and some added gameplay features. Great game from the people that made MOh: aa in the first place but nothing new. Cod is just a great adrenaline rush on rails, but nothing particularly outstanding. Fun to play once or twice and that's about it. I remember u and I playing it online once, that was cool.

Not being able to walk while aiming is pretty annoying and I so wanna fight the Germans in the end I need this game!
