World In Conflict is a beast of an RTS game. I never really likes RTS titles, got involved in the WiC beta and I was impressed!
If anyone's a fan of the Total sites, feel free to visit Total World in Conflict for THE WiC community ;).

Beta was smooth as silk, this game is hot
 the demo was the first time I got to play the Single Player portion of it... was just great.

Could anyone comment on how taxing this is for your system?, I have pretty mediocre hardware.
Also how does it compare against Company of Heroes?

i'm hoping this'll be the game that brings me into the RTS fold. I've been trying to like the genre for years, but it's just not working for me...btu I'm thinking WiC's focused and fast gameplay could do it for me. I hope...
And for system requirement info, I just dug up this site that has some info... http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache:lhT41...us&client=opera Those system requirements there will be slightly higher than the ones in the actual game, since they're for the beta. But, basically, it's a game that's easy on your graphics card, while being pretty tough on your processor and RAM.

Thanks for that my comp should be able to take it without smoking.
Did you ever try out Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War? Its a RTS but you can also jump into the hero character and battle away.
