That's what I'm hearing from many of people.....if you go to http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/index.php you'll see their official forum is flooded with outrage and complains, including those who are refusing to buy it.

I haven't had any problems with the demo or spyware. I suspect it's
just a report made in retaliation because some people have crappy
PC's that can't play the game with low-end cards at a good resolution.

yeah, the game runs fine on my friends PC. no bugs or anything. don't you hate those n00bs with 20 years old PC complainging that certain games won't run on their machine with 1600x1200?

It was rumored that SecuRom installs a rootkit, but it actually dosent.

The Registry key, by itself comes with an asterisk (*) to warn you to not delete it, otherwise face problems with updates/playing the game.

The rootkit detector they used to "find secuRom's root kit" just put it up cause it marks all rootkits with a (*).
