It's not really DX10 for XP but rather Crytek artificially limited much of the very high settings to DX10.

If none of you have played around in the editor to play with the things that are not in the demo, you can go here to download funmap #5. They add all the things you didn't get to see in the demo such as the helo and tons of weaponry.
