I use Ati tray tools and select OSD (on screen display) because I have that program running for other purposes anyway. Most people use Fraps.

Gazz i have a geforce 8800 GTS 640 mb pci express and windows xp . and on the box that the card came in it says dx10 so do i have it? just cant use it cause i dont have vista? and also i have a crt monitor. do i need a lcd hd screen to make it work also? if so what screen do u recommend? ty

youdon't have DX10 if you're running on XP,you need vista. And Slaymate, i didn't choose anything concerning DX10, and my game runs under DX10 anyways. still, you need a killer machine to play very high settings, with my rig i can only play at high settings with acceptable framerates...
Or, while playing with the editor on 64 bits mode, you can have good framerates in very high . (i'll post some cool videos soon ;)) :thumbup: :thumbup:

Your card is DX10 capable but it will only run in DX9 mode with XP.

ya im afraid i would run it and mess something up and couldnt reverse it . not sure how to install it either

It's just the demo. In the worst case scenario you delete it and reinstall.

Yeah, it just edits crysis so it allows the very high settings, it doesnt mess with your videocard, so as gazz said, you got nothing to lose ;)
