Funny enough there still isn't a single DX 10.0 game to date that really persuades people to get a card for it and now's theres 10.1 :dennis: . Crysis looks great but that still hasn't been released after it's initial date of "together with Vista" and although that game ran fine on a 8800 during a tech demo it still leads to wonder if it does the same on a pc with Anti virus on, ton's of background processes and god knows what else...

well, crysis is also DX9 so who cares for DX10. so far all DX10 games ran worst than in DX9 mode and the they didn't offer alot on the DX10 part. WOW, fogs that runs smoothly into walls and floor. i still think MS can't fix the DX10 problems and therefor shittin a new, sam ol DX with some fixes. arn't you savin money for DX10.1.1 graphic card yet? maybe a DX10.1.2, finally we get water that splashes in ya face without using fake FX' |

I'm actually saving up for a DX 10.1.3.6.2 card, only costs me 800 for the 35th time

I think it uses some dx 10 possibilities, but not to it's full potential like Crysis supposedly does. Still World in conflict might keep me busy for some time :thumbup:

I have (2) 8800 GTX's. No big deal in my eyes. When a new card comes out
I'll just sell what I've got and buy a couple newer ones. It's a never ending
battle with hardware, get use to it :-)

Same here. I have done the same thing for years. I get a few couple hundred quid each time towards a new card. So whenever something new comes out it only costs my a hundred quid or so!
