Far cry mp in ad version?

I was wondering if the ad version of Far cry had mp and if it does if it would be fun to get some guys from here and kick each others ass?

I have the full version since launch Kami, I have no need to get the free version

I read somewhere that the ad supported version of farcry doesnt support MP since it doesnt have a CD serial number.
