This mess up has got to be the biggest in the history of the 360 and even lets their huge failure rate look like a minor inconvenience. Tons of people who really want to play the hyped game will now flash their console and download this game from some torrentsite and will most likely download more games in the future instead of buying them which will set MS back ages. Who the hell came up with the brilliant idea to ship units of the game 2 weeks before rleease anyway, stupid stupid stupid and I love it.

Changing the context of the discussion and making more made up claims doesn't mean you are right. Your original claim is that the shipment of games early would cost MS big in sales.

Since H3 has broken all records for single day revenue generation for an entertainment title, you were (and are) wrong.

Nope, having them ship early meant the game was on warezsites and since it's been downloaded 100.000ths times from there it put a huge dent in sales. Especially since they were patched to play online with and warezkiddos had no reason to waste money on it. This has put a huge dent in sales like I said. I also said to not waste time trying to discredit me with poor info, I guess that wasn't really clear.

Having best gamesales in one day doesn't make a point at all, you just overlooked all other factors in gamesales to make things look brighter for you, doesn't make them true though

So the game has been cracked and Downloaded 100,000 times? And everyone of those warezers have a another magical crack that lets them play on Live as a Gold member for free?

Nice made up number, but what the hell, let's play with it a minute to show just how wrong you are even when you make up new stuff.

100000 downloads * 60 (retail price of the game) = 6,000,000 in lost revenue to M$

6 Mill is a whopping 3% of the total day 1 revenue. And let's be real (which you can't be), they will sell a hell of a lot more than that over the next 90 days leading up to Christmas.

Geez, if you are going to make up stuff to try to make yourself look good, at least try to make up numbers that ultimately have relevance.

Actually I did look up the exact numbers. There are searchsites for that which give you exact numbers on that, I just can't link you towards it because of a no warez policy we have here. I am amazed you as an admin don't know that. These numbers of course exclude a lot of private torrent sites, newsgroups and other p2p networks but you catch my drift I hope.

Great to see that lost profit in whatever lost percentage isn't a loss for you, you don't have any responsibility in your daily job I may hope so.
