Jack Thompson is at it again.

It seems our paranoid lawyer friend feels threatened by GTA once again. In one of the missions the player is send out to assassinate a lawyer and when he gets to his desk the lawyer says “that the firm supports the second amendment and that ‘Guns don’t kill people. Video games do.’�. Of course this once again was reason enough for JT to file a lawsuit for harassment and now wants to block the game from being released.

It reads more like a personal letter sent to someone you are arguing with than a legal complain filed in a court-of-law. No wonder the Florida Bar can't stand the guy.

Who in their right mind would file a sentence like that in a legal document that was REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE MADE PUBLIC!

I nearly spit out my drink when I read that in the pdf. that was hilarious from whoever did that. (I bet the wife enjoyed it).

So, what was the lawyers name? Was it something that would make people thing of that jackass? If not, I don't see that he has a leg to stand on here.

He's seem's to be a Legal Spammer to me. This
thread is just another advertisement for him. I'm
right on the verge of closing this thread for that alone.
But I guess that would be censorship. Maybe some
one else will just delete this spam for me.

Meh... the 55 views this thread has up til now (and that includes the view from me replying) isn't going to have an impact on ol' Jack.

I can pretty well assure you that any court that hears this case isn't going to be very concerned about what the Gamer's Hell forum community has to say about it.
