PSP slim&lite sells 500.000 in 2 weeks

And that's a freaking lot for a handheld that has been going trough rough weather since launchday. It has been prone to piracy in such high levels most publishers didn't even want to bother making a game for it and all has changed now.Linky.

The new PSP has reportedly been selling 100.000's in other areas of the world too, but I still don't have any plausible figures for that.

EDIT: American sales have been 88.586 in one week according to Vgchartz. Please note that it hasn't been widely available there although it should be by now. Any of our American friends here who can confirm or deny that?

Any comments from you guys?
