Ok, after looking at the first statistics, what do you guys think? Vista and OS-x jumps out for me, Apple has been pushing to get their os into gaming a bit more and I am personally speculating on a handheld I-gaming device by Apple in the near future. Looking at the fact that OS-X is suddenly supported strengthens my theory that they are discussing something No support for Xp will probably mean it will be DX 10 only.

Well it was inevitable that it was going to happen. If it is going to be cross-platform and specifically for OSX it might even have to be use OpenGL as the preferred renderer. This would mean that the engine could be developed for PC, Mac OSX and PS3 concurrently...

... Wouldn't that be an efficient use of resources.

Oh silly me, DICE and EA are handling it. That would mean its likely to be a bulky mass of un-optimised tripe that wont be complete when you purchase it, because they intend to sell you the other half as a fooking expansion pack 6 months down the line!

I really liked 2142.... but the whole Battlefield 2 felt fucked up

Oh come on....geez, this just sounds like a re release of BF2/Desert Combat with prettier graphics. I wish they could do something different aside from the whole MEC vs the world routine. Oh well, I actually enjoy 2142 and BF2...but this is just gonna be a rehash of BF2 unless they really do some changes.

I have spent long hours playing BF1942 DC mod, BF2 also was very good game, I like it, and I think BF3 will be as good as previous versions of this big game

I have a background in BF2, and yeah its a pretty good game. But it gets boring so fast, and u can die so easily. All the other team has to do is artillery and your dead.... And the fact that BF3 isnt even coming out on XP is pretty gay. so yeah lol.
