UT3 Demo

A question, the game runs fine here, but a friend got win xp pro 64 bit and he cant even install the game due to a missing dll file(already sent him to dll-files.com but they dont have it) i havent d/lled the patch myself but i think its only a exe for after install replacement right?
Is anyone else having probs with 64 bit installs?

I just d/l'd and installed the demo. My first impressions are that its the same old concept that's been around for more than a decade with updated graphics. I wish they'd have released a demo for the single player; maybe that would be more to my taste.

Yes,

Dodge-jump has (thankgod) been removed. Only good old-skool dodge from ut99 and a little doublejump stayed too.

The sniper rifle is more ut99 again (with a much shorter charging time then in UT2K4, where it sucked).

Guys....this game so pwns. I love the demo.

WTF IS WRONG WITH DODGE-JUMPS? IS IT JUST THAT YOU CAN'T HIT THE TARGET WHEN THEY CAN DO THAT?
YOU SOUND JUST LIKE THOSE LAZY-ASSED BR PLAYERS THAT SAY TRANS BR SUX, JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO INCEST TIME IN LEARNING A SKILL!



EDIT: ACTUALLY, THIS GAME IS SETTING UP TO BE AS DISAPPOINTING AS Q4 AND DOOM3! WITHOUT BR, DODGE JUMPING AND SO FAR TRANS IT KINDA SUX. SURE THE GRAPHIC S ARE NICE, BUT I JUST DON'T LIKE REGRESSING BACK TO UT(99) GAME PLAY!

i kinda miss the double jump also, but right now thats not a big deal for me

type in:
summon UTGameContent.UTvehicle_fury_content

for the fury, it dose not have any sounds but its still fun to play with

you can also replace fury with Cicada or DarkWalker to spawn those as well.

I'm having GREAT fun with the GREAT sniper rifle.

I don't miss the dodge-jump actually, it sucked. :P
