What's the game of the past that you remember mostly, on pc though, don't get on some other computer or consoles, yet!

Good topic,
I'm a real adventure freak, so I must have to go with Sam & Max: Hit The Road. A very funny game with a good plot, great characters and brilliant music. Recommended for anyone.

Besides that I loved Indiana Jones 4: Fate of Atlantis, which is another very good adventure game with dear ol' Indy.

I could go on and on for a few kb or so, but I won't.

It would have to be Thief (Looking Glass), I have never been so immersed by a game before, and it has only ever been exceeded in my view by Thief 2, Deus Ex doesn't even come close.

I agree, even though I started with Thief 2 (which I completed on normal difficulty). The story and the setting was just 'better' than deus ex (which was also a great game).

i had the greatest pc-gaming with a very unknown game.. programmed by a geraman student.. called clonk ( if you really want to know what i'm talking about look at Clonk-Page ) .. it was fun to play because you could ( and still can ) play with up to 4 people with at one pc .. - and that really was cool cause my friends an me didn't have internet and also no network..

.. and for clonk you can develope your own stuff.. they made up some kind of a scripting engine.. and because of it's 2d look you could more or less easily create own gfx.

this is not supposed to be advertising or something.. you wanted to know which pc game is great.. and i played and designed for clonk at least one year.. and this is the longest time any pc game motivated me!

To be honest I could not complete first level of thief lol... all that stuff about lights and shadow, rumors... if it's FPS it has to have BLOOOOD!

OK, there's some genre of games that I really can't afford... too dumb? too fat? YES!

i guess clonk is more for beginners in designing and developing.. and also the gameplay is more for children ( 10-16 .. or something ) .. so guess ( if you aren't between 10 to 16 you will not have that much fun with it ) .. or maybe i just "clonked" to long, so now i don't get the kick anymore

I did look at clonk movie, really basic graphics, though looks like anything can happen... can u describe this game in brief jp? I have no clue what genre it should belong after seeing the movie.
