Blood, Gore, and Nudity

I have been in the Age of Conan forums lately and there is a thread that has caught my attention so, I thought I would bring the topic here to get your thoughts.

Age of Conan is a mature rated game. It contains blood, gore, and nudity and is meant for mature gamers that are looking for something more than WoW. Here is the thing, some people want a filter to stop the gore and nudity. I feel that this is not even close to necessary as everyone knew before hand what to expect of the game. I see absolutely no reason for there to be a filter in the game.

I have more reasons why it shouldn't be there but, I will wait to see others opinions before I go off on a rant.

I always wanted a 18+ game I could play with kids. Having those breasts turn into balloons by turning on the filter is my longtime dream. I also suggest they use a womans clitoris as a button we have to push to advance in our quest. Lets see if we can find the clitoris then. Take that Cosmo, of course we can find the clit, we just want it to be on a nice character with nice graphics. Not the short haired bimbos with sagging tits that we are left with after you suggested that short hair is the new haircut of 2008 because your editor went into menopause and wanted revenge on all beautiful young women.

I am 28 and in all those years I have not been able to distinguish virtual reality from the real world. I must have killed and sexually abused (in that order) 100's of them but thanks to CSI the game I always knew how to divert attention away from me.

Sure there are tons of mmorpg's that do the same basic thing as Age of conan without the violence that you can register on, but since I fully agree with the other people who have a stick up their ass I also want a filter. Before you know it I (as an adult man) will be walking around in my bearskin suit and my mighty sword and we can't have that.

hey, richie, what prg do you use for music? i got Propellerhead and cubase and kinda suck in both

Boobies or No Boobies. I think the hoe that is leading this filter campaign should have her Sagging Boobies cut off.
If it's not a women then I would guess he's a Priest/Minister/Pedophile, and the chopping block still applies.

People are morons, that is it in a nutshell. There are probably some parents that bought it for their underage kids and now want a filter for it because they spent a bunch of money for the game without paying attention to the fact that it was rated for ADULTS!
