Like Championship Manager? - You'll LOVE this!

Hey guys, any of you lot out there dissapointed with the latest version of Championship Manager? Well, a lot of people have been, and they've been turning to this little FREEWARE game to get their fix

Seriously guys, try it out. I HATE football, and I love this game. We tried to submit it to CNet, but they charge $80 for that privelige these days, so we've had to resort to posting about it on forums.

It's already had a warm reception from the guys on the CM4 forums, as well as two others.

This is utter piss. It is nothing on CM4 even with its obvious new flaws. This game however has no managerial skill at all. its like playing pairs.

Forgive my friend for marketing my game as a CM4 replacement which it certainly isn't and never was intended to be. It's just a fun idea I had to expand an old amiga game, which a lot of people loved. I wasn't expecting much reaction when I released it but in the 2 weeks it's been around I've heard nothing but positive comments until this thread. Even in the official CM4 forum I got over 150 replies with nothing but praise, but c'est la vie not to everybody's taste.

But I have to object about skill - if there was loads of skill you could win every game. The idea is if you use your strategies wisely over the long haul your team will do better than they would if they hadn't which in turn boosts your team and your reputation. That's the idea and it works - I've tested enough to know that.

Jesus dude, ease up on the abuse there. You wanna make something better for free?

How is this post spam? My friend makes a new game....FOR FREE.....makes no money out of it in any way, hosts it on his own webspace which he pays for, I tell you guys about it in a general discussion forum, I don't double post anywhere, and all of a sudden it's SPAM!? :Oo:

Now that I look back at it again, I think you are right.

Cut 'em some slack folks, we got a guy working on making his own game here.. so we owe him a lot better than this.

I know any game I make would suck, so I'm not about to throw stones.
