SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - U.S. video game giant Electronic Arts (ERTS.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Sunday said it had made an unsolicited $1.9 billion (966 million pound) offer for "Grand Theft Auto" publisher Take-Two Interactive Software (TTWO.O: Quote, Profile, Research), escalating its battle with Activision for the title of biggest video game maker.
You just wonder if EA never learned anything from it's previous takeovers (Westwood anyone?). Take two is of course the prime example of a company that keeps falling back and exploit their biggest hit over and over again and EA announced a year ago it didn't want to continue exploiting the same game brand over and over again.
