Another update. This time we figure out what the deal is with Sephiroth. I started off heading north west to a little town that Barret hinted to. There we stayed at the inn, where Cloud started talking about old memories as a member of SOLDIER.      The main incident started when Cloud, Tifa, and Sephiroth went to some big mountain.   Sephiroth mentioned that his mother's name was Jenova...  and he realizes that it's probably not a coincidence.      This is when things go weird

   Oh no!    DAMN YOU SEPHIROTH!  Cloud tries to track him down         Sephiroth definitely could, but doesn't kill Cloud. Story time is over, and tomorrow I head for the mithril caves, which according to the tavern people are now infested by monsters.

Big update. I spent quite a few hours last night, so let's see  Dropping by the chocobo farm. In order to get a chocobo you need a specific materia, chocobo lure, and go to certain spots outside where there are huge chocobo tracks. Eventually a chocobo joins a battle, where you have to feed it some yummy treats.   With a chocobo you can cross a desert where this big snake monster hangs out.   Eventually we run into these guys, who also seem to be after Sephiroth.     We make it to the town, but there's not much to do there.   So I went looking for something else to do, and found this mountain that was being invaded by Shinra soldiers. Here you play a minigame where you position a bunch of different soldiers, and then send them off in a turn-based battle of sorts.  Headed back to the dirty town and eventually figured out where I was supposed to go. A dolphin helps Cloud get up to a platform.

 The new president and his right hand man are onboard.  And what do you know, these guys are on too.   Boat finally takes off.  Barret, and the rest of the team made it on board too.  Sephiroth kills some more people, but doesn't recognize Cloud.   Sephiroth disappears, and this thing attacks.   Oh great, so I have to fight every body part of Jenova?    Nice town.  But after chilling out on the beach we head for the mountains.
