Video - Crackle

Thatgamecompany decided to stay at the studio for 24 hrs and make a game for the PS3 just for fun. Here is a gameplay video. It actually looks pretty cool.

It has some gameplay elements of "Worms". May be a lot of fun, but it is a waste to use a powerful, energy-loving PS3 for a game like that. Would be nice for my old AMD K6-2 system, though. And I can say that 24 hours seems quite short to fully develop that game (unless they don't talk, eat or sleep, or are very good programmers).

That K6-2 system I mentioned runs Windows 98. And in case of such a game, you are needing a LAN, or a combination of multiple controllers (or any other gear) to enable multiplayer. So DOS is not possible. And a DOS pc won't have the neccessary power, since they probably didn't take that much effort to progam efficiently.

But I would like to get a pc version, as long as it supports online multiplayer  (that is the only way to meet people who play it, since I don't know any people being as "odd" as I am (so "odd" to like this ))

Dos games work great on windows too just use something to slow your cpu down so the games won't run so ridiculously fast.
Try tank wars its turn based so no online multiplayer but its great! 1-10 player games, awesome physics! XD Worms was born from that game! Damn now I have to find it...
