@Caveman, numerous company are starting to move towards releasing old games (and new ones like Battlefield heroes) on a ad based basis. You guys ever thought about re releasing codename panzers 1 for free on that basis?

Playing rts on a console is really doable. The biggest issue with rts on a console is the fact that most reviewers despise the idea of gaming on a console and that most rts games get high 70's ratings on pc. Not a bad grade and probably realistic but those scores hardly work on consoles. Every game needs to be a minimum 80 and rts as a genre hardly reaches that.

CDV Europe is the publisher of Phase One so that kind of decision would have to be made by them.

As for ratings, what you need is that high score for an RTS on a console.

If you make an RTS with consoles in mind, it doable. Not only that, but you can even use keyboard and mouse on PS3, but that's if you have a lot of money and willing to go exclusive PS3/PC.
