Not a strong showing for PC games at all. Mostly handhelds, consoles and ports to everything.

Very interesting. There have been some spectacular games released recently and its nice to see people buying them in droves. Thankfully I see no mention of some of the dross that has been released on the PC recently, specifically expanions packs for the Sims2 and the awful Crysis. Quite unbelievable that are still some gamecube titles shifting massive quantities!

and it backs up what has been a good year or so for Nintendo. Wii, DS and GC are all shifting quantities of games that Sony and M$ wouldn't turn up their noses too.

Also worth noting, Medal of honor Vanguard (PS2/Wii) sold way more then MOH Airborne (PS3/PC/360) and MOHA actually was the better game while Vanguard added nothing to the series.

PS2 sales still seem to be beyond belief. Amazing how a 8 year old console still has this many titles in the list and continues to sell. It even outsold the 360, PSP and PS3 last week in the states according to npd.

The list also really isn't up to date because Gran turismo 5 proloque sold 750.000 ciopies in it's European opening week alone. "Updated: Wednesday, 09 April 2008" My ass.

Caveman, call MS and Sony tomorrow and tell them to send their developmentpackages so you can port cold war immediatly. The pc market is crumbling under a lack of interest and piracy and it'd be a shame if you went down because of that.

It's sad to see the pc dying...

I really hope the handheld consoles take over the other consoles, especially with tv output.

Btw did you guys know the iphone is better than a psp and a ds? :O

In specifications you mean? The ds is a no brainer, but more powerful then the PSP. Didn't know that, do know they actually have it registered as a gaming device. Th real question is, how much of the Iphone's power is available for gaming and how much is consumed by processes making the iphone operate in the first place.

It isn't the pc that is dying. It is just that software companies are focusing solely on the consoles, etc. Although, the consoles are essentially pc's now anyway.
