i was wondering if someone could help me with my graphics card i,m runing windows xp 2000 intel pentium 4 32bit plug and play monitoron nvidia gforce4 mx 4000 i,ve tryed to install a new 1 sli gforce8800 but it tells me that i have,nt got the hardware or driver can someone please help me with this please.

Go here and download the latest driver. Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

No problem,
Download and install the latest Nvidia Forceware driver for your operating system from Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers. Install it and restart et viola!

I'm thinking you should consider a new PC. If it came with a mx4000 there will be major bottlenecks that'll only let you use a little bit of an 8800.
Also, are there seriously any AGP 8800s?

Probably not, but there is an agp version of the Radeon HD 3850 available.
@doug237: a GeForce 8 only makes sense, if you got a pretty recent system with a dual core processor (e.g. a Core 2 Duo or Athlon64 X2) and preferably DDR2 RAM. However, you probably got SDRAM (two types earlier). That will be a huge bottleneck, just like the processor. I think it is way better to keep your system as it was and use it as your working pc. To be able to play the most recent games, you need to buy a new system.
