The GTA 4 thread

What an eyesore is the 360 version. It looks like the PS3 version that's been put in the washer with bleech. Lacks any warmth which is pretty amusing for a console that known for its heat.

I finished the storyline in 26h according to the game. I played a lot of side missions as well and my buddy had 4h freeroaming extravaganza so minus that would make it around 22h
65.35% complete or something in those lines so there’s still a lot of crap to do like shooting all 200 clowning pigeons.

Getting further and further, 34% now

Not sure how far I am into it yet but, I played for 7 hours straight last night and am still getting used to the driving. Gazz,. why no love for the 360 version? It looks great and as far as I can tell from all the comparison vids out, the PS3 version does not look much different!

Gazz does not like it because he does not like the 360 afaik (RROD).

Yeah Hater! you know what.. We should arrange Gta iv multiplayer play night some day at least between us 360 owners and Nxs I could give you one of my 48h or even 2month live subscription codes if ya still aren’t paying for the service coz I got plenty of them just laying around.

Good idea! Since GTA came with a free month of gold, I was going to give the mp part a go this afternoon. If you want to part with some of those codes, I'd be happy to use them

The PS3 version actually has way less pop up. Why no love for the 360 version? Lets see, first off, it's a Microsoft product. Second, both my 360's died because it is a piece of crap hardware. Third it's from Microsoft and last but not least you have to pay to get online. Free month my ass, it should be a free service. Another scheme by MS that they are also implementing into pc gaming slowly. Games for Windows willl ultimately also be subscription based if we gamers don't take a stand and looking at the forums hardly any do have a spine. But hey, lucky enough we get a free month with a game from time to time. Ms must be the most generous company in the world right?

GTA is just as good or argubaly better on the PS3. With you getting the 360 version you directly support a company responsible for the worst soft- and hardware in the world. I'll be playing GTA4 online aswell for free this month... and the ones after that for that matter. I'll also be doing that on a reliable piece of hardware.

I am not arguing consoles, just the way the game looks. I don't have a PS3 but, all I have read said that it does have pop ups just not as many as the 360. The 360 pop ups are not all that much either! Sure the PS3 may have the ever so slight graphic advantage but, that is too minuscule to argue over.

As a side not, I don't see the 360's freezing for some ppl after the opening scene not to mention Live is not the service that has been down today! No wonder PSN is free cause no can or will play on the damn thing
