DSL Line: 8 - 10 players
T1+ 16 - X players. (X is dependant on your connection)


THE SERVER WILL CONSUME 85 TO 100% OF YOUR CPU. This means YOU CANNOT RUN AN
INTERNET SERVER ON AND PLAY FROM THE SAME MACHINE. SERVERS MUST BE DEDICATED FOR
OPTIMAL AND PROPER PERFORMANCE.

As I expected... requests are a bit higher than what a shared server can handle.

Our main box has the cpu to handle it, but we would kill the bandwidth monthly limit and pay bad penalties.

I don't think a similar server for 32 people can be fixed for less than a 150 / month... maybe even more, of course 32*$10 ($5) is cheap for every single player.. but getting 32 people to pay and every month too sounds really hard.

Why not just find some-ones empty clan server everynight, and post the server IP, ofcourse other people will join, but thats the only downside, as their are loads of empty servers, also, not being able to choose the game is a bad thing too, just stick to battlefield! (as i am getting a key tomorrow )

Yep, same conclusions that I came to. And with only 7 people interested in paying....

Hey, at least I made the attempt. Oh well, I guess I'll go back to Planetside.

I always have a war night I am constantly play DC! I will be again in about an hour or so also At the moment I am setting up both puters to run RTCW ET I think next time we play rtcw, I will set the other puter to be on the team with Bucky and tk the hell out of him heeheheh
