I didn't think the last post through very well, and only two people actually said they would pay, so, let's make this real simple.
For those of you that want this to be free, it ain't gonna happen. If we want our own server to play on, it is up to us. Just taking a cursory look around, we should be able to get us a dedicated host for ~$60/mnth. So, it will be pretty inexpensive if there are enough of us willing to pay up.

Well, ya know I would so long as it wasn't too expensive.
And yesterday I spent about 8 hours playing on a pretty good server. It was called NTDF it's DC though but it was pretty good

I'm figuring that if we can't get 10 peeps together, then it isn't worth it. That many people would keep it well under 10/ea for a kick butt server. The most expensive that I saw was ~80/mnth.
I know that there are plenty of good performing public servers available to play on. And they are not that hard to find even. I would just love to be able to jump into a game of "blow everbody up" with people that I know, so that we can sit and rag on each other in the forums later.

im not sure it'd be too great an idea,
mainly cos i have no money  but also cos we have people in different countries here and u wouldn't be able to get every1 playin @ the same time
