A new supercomputer based on components originally developed for PS3 (amongst others) has been set to be used by the Energy Department's National Nuclear Security Administration to certify the reliability of the U.S. stockpile of nuclear weapons. The 360 may be infamous for it's rrod, but as usual the PS3 just has the stronger machine capable of so much more Red nuke of death.

Pretty ironic that a Japanese product (the superpc was made by IBM, an american company) provides the American army a supercomputer to control their nuclear arsenal.

If i may note, I heard the supercomputer uses some other revision of the cell processor which is alot better than the one in the ps3 right now

That's right, it's based on a new evolution of the cell. As you may know, the cell was intended and developed for many purposes and new versions are being made till this day. Perhaps Nintendo can join them, making the wii mote the perfect accessory for controlling the bomb in flight.
