New game Legend: Hand of God [TRAILER]

I've been looking for a new fantasy RPG ever since I finished playing Diablo II for like the twentieth time, and then I saw this trailer, which is... well... AWESOME to say the least...

I did some googling and found out that it's a game that's been out in Germany for a while and actually won like RPG of the year or something there, and it's apparently coming to the U.S. in August... I'm pretty psyched. IT's from THQ, and they did Titan Quest, which I played pretty religiously for a while... so I'm willing to try anything by them! Anyone else seen anything on this?

The drop system is apparently kind of like Diablo's or TQ's, where it falls on the ground and you can highlight by holding alt+tab, so I imagine then that the loot also goes through varying "color" levels of rare/unique/legendary etc. No idea how extensive it is, though.

KamiSoriX -- do you live in germany? It's not old, it's only been released there last year, and it doesn't come out here until August. maybe you're thinking of Titan Quest? The engine and animation is similar, I think they've just pushed it further in Legend. It looks like they smoothed it out a lot and added in all these unique finishing moves depending on what you're fighting.

Apparently the story/writing is by Susan O'Connor, who wrote Bioshock... I was just going to get this based on gameplay alone, now I actually want to play it for the story, wow. Hopefully it'll have some sort of twist/spin like Bioshock...

Yes i Live in Germany and yes, 1 year in the fast moving gaming industry makes it old. No, not a fan of Titan Quest ofter the shitty ending.

Legend has that talking fairy which was fun at the beginning but became very annoying at some point.

Well, if the writer for Legend is the same woman who did Bioshock, we definitely don't have to worry about the ending sucking... I agree Titan Quest was not exactly a game you played expecting actual plot. I assume Susan O'Connor's doing the English-language script treatment of the game, so maybe it'll even be different from what you played.
