westward 2 trainer doesnt work

i just downloaded westward 2 +5 trainer and it doesnt work, says waiting for game. i have it in the folder with the ex file. i downloaded game from bestbuy.com and bought the reg key. can anyone help

this is how trainers usually works:

1. Start game
2. Alt+Tap to minimize game
3. Start Trainer and set up what you wanna do with it
4. click on the game in your Taskbar
5. umm...that's pretty much it...havn't used a trainer for ages but can't imagin they have change so much

nope still says waiting for game at bottom of trainer

did you make sure you got the right version of the trainer? some trainers don't work anymore when the game has been updated

doesnt say what version the trainer is for so i guess it is for 1.0 and game is 1.0
