Blu-Ray a bust?

Forget Blu-ray... Hi Def streaming is where it's at - The INQUIRER

So, basically Blu-ray is going belly up from lack of interest, and Sony is waking up to the reality that MS is position to deliver the knock out punch.

While Sony was fighting to get Blu-ray the "exclusive" HD format, MS recognized that physical media was soon to get the way of LP albums and threw their weight into XBL.

Sony is looking at $3B hole in the ground that gets deeper with each and every PS3 sold, and they are desperately behind in the coming fight that counts... not good.

[edit] OK, so the reality is that tomorrow is a holiday here, so its a slow day at work

Not like internet is fast enough to get some good streams. Also if i pay for a movie i'd better have a disc in my hand..

I just wish they would bring HD/DVD back. It was the more affordable product. I was on the verge of buying one when they suddenly went Belly-up. Thanks for nothing Sony.

HD DVD was and still is the better format.

i was about 2 buy the HD-DVD add-on 2 use with my PC, then i got the sad news =/

Blu ray won, good luck crying for the inferiour media that was hd dvd though. The battle has been fought and won. Good luck being behind on life by seven months if you choose that path, do not care enough to point you in the right direction if you still do not get it. Hi def streaming is the future, I have said that myself several times. Unfortunatly download speeds worldwide are not fast enough to start making an serious impact in the next few years. I look forward to seeing how it will progress in the next few years though.
