I am guessing LBP will be big but, probably not huge. I hear it will be released in Europe on October 24th. That puts it out there with the really heavy hitters this holiday. I suppose we will find out how it does here in about a month or so

4. Brothers in arms: Hells highway
5. Resistance 2

And my list of what is most realistically going to happen:

1. Little big planet
2. Call of duty: world at war
3. Gears of war 2
4. Resistance 2
5. Fable 2

I think you are going to need a new list. I have a feeling that GoW2 will be one or two, Far Cry 2, will be in there, CoD is a crap shoot, Resistance 2 will make it on the charts but, not in the top five for long, PoP is right there with CoD, and Mirrors Edge will have to just insanely awesome for it to come close to the top 5. EA has not been that popular lately

Just want to say that GameVideos is the absolute worst shit, upload that stuff to gametrailers please. Atleast there you don't have to buffer for 30 minutes to see a 3 minute video. Absolutely outragious.

what i dont get is that we, PC gamers, have SDKs since DooM if not earlier. And later games got 3D and you can make all kinda levels and/or game modes. You can make a side scroller, FPS or just hole to throw Gazz in. And that for FREE!!
LBP is a fucking sidescroller level editor. that's about it. Just a leveleditor. and they want us to pay 60 Gazzes for it?

Thank you Kami for your great comparison that is somewhere in the line of someone trying to point out the advantages of a tractor over a car for someone who lives in downtown London. Good luck making a free side scroller that looks anywhere like LBP though. You've been able to do so for a huge number of years so amaze us with your skills.

If you still can't do so on your age old pc (on which you actually don't play, but you do play on your PS3 a whole freaking lot), then I suggest jumping into your hole yourself.

@NXS:
1. Little big planet: Biggest hyped and most original game of the years to come.
2. Call of duty: world at war: Who cares if it will be crappy, everybody knows the name and it will sell great.
3. Gears of war 2: Big guns sell great.
4. Resistance 2 This one may outsell GOW2 if the coop is really as goood as suggested by mayor gaming sites.
5. Fable 2: That molyneux guy makes really overambitious games as far as I am concerned, but this game has been hyped to death and will sell millions just like the first part.


Far cry's image got wrecked by the previous poor console games and will not shine as much as we'd hoped for. Do have it on preorder myself.
