GameTap
Well, i recently gave GameTap another try after the first a while ago didn't went right for me and boy, they have improved. I basicly joined only because DEUS EX GotY Edition was for free there. Well, I snooped around a bit more and they have some great classics full version for free like; Hitman, Hitman2, Tomb Raider Legends(which isnt even that old for a freebie) and the best game ever: DAIKATANA (hrhrhr).
I say you guys try it out and get all the free goods from GameTap as long as you can. Works perfectly and no cheap adwares or so.
I do, however, have a problem with the GT client since it doesn't show the graphics properly but it doesn't matter since you can choos the games you won't from their site.
GameTap - play free now your favorite Free Adventure Games on GameTap.com
Those ain't all, there are other categories with lotsa free games. Have fun babes

yup, just played some hitman, that game might be technicly old but it's still a great game.
Also, I would recommand Psychonauts, one of the best platformers in the last couple of years. Bucky can confirm that

Gametap is well known as a digital distributor. It is free of any BS and co. In fact the folks who made Sam and Max episodes distribute their games via Gametap.
Hitman is not a freeware. it's an offer by gametap to us. sorta like promotion. Only Hitman 1n2 is for free, the others you gotta pay a monthly fee.
look it up. No crap or Steamshit here. GameTap belongs to Turner Broadcasting System which includes CNN, TBS, Turner Network Television, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and some other crap. i don't think a company that big would go wilding a Jolly Roger
PS: I think you folks know me long enough to know that if it is any sorta spy or milicousware spreader I would say so and not promote it.
PPS: also note that I talk only about the freebie offer. I wouldn't recommand paying there because all the gold games last only as long as you pay.

I prefer the surprises that Gamershell has for me from time to time. Completely free of course like Area 51 right now. I also look trough the budget bin from time to time, but with gaming becoming larger and more titles appearing every day I just can't be bothered to replay old stuff. Just looking at what my PC/PS3/PSP/Wii/DS brings forward in good games is simply overwhelming. Wel,, Wii and DS is kinda dissapointing actually, for me personally atleast.
Also, LBP will be huger then Steam and GameTap.

WOW, GOG sux. the prices are a joke since most games are much cheaper in stores. and no freebies at all. I just bought Fallout Ultimate collection containing Fallout, FO2 and tactics for 10 bucks. GOG wants 6 bucks for FO1 alone. i should have known that interman is up to no good. Unlease original after school beating
